As a counselor, Herman brings a lot of experience to Jessup because he is one of the few remaining alumni who has been with the school since before the relocation in 2004. Herman made the move from San Jose to Rocklin with the school and graduated in 2006 with a degree in Bible and Theology and a minor in Psychology. During the time he attended Jessup, Herman played for the varsity Men’s Basketball Team as well as participated in various student outreach programs such as YWAM.
Post-graduation, Herman has owned and managed a variety of different businesses; as an entrepreneur Herman has worked primarily in the private sector, but he has extensive experience with both profit and nonprofit organizations.
Herman’s goals are to help students appreciate the value of an education, as well as provide his overall experiences from his life to guide students to make informed decisions that will benefit them throughout all aspects of their lives. The biggest thing that Herman appreciates about Jessup is, “the personal/relational community that is undeniable on and off campus. My passion for admissions is watching students grow and begin to utilize their individual gifts and talents for God’s glory!”
