What you appreciate about WJU: The community here at WJU is one of my favorite characteristics of the campus. The minute I started work here (August, 2006) I felt like part of the family instantly. The students, faculty and staff are so welcoming. You should see for yourself and come visit the campus.
The other thing that comes to mind is the growth of the university. With the move to Rocklin and the school’s name change, there many new opportunities. This school has room to grow and new and exciting things are around each corner. New programs, athletic teams, activities and even new buildings will be popping up along the way. It is so exciting to be here at Jessup during this time.
Favorite things to do: My absolute favorite thing to do is hang out with my husband Brett. We enjoy watching TV, eating, traveling and sports. My favorite shows include: The Office, Amazing Race, What Not To Wear and just about anything on HGTV and Food Network. Cooking is at the top of the list of things to do in my spare time. My specialties include: homemade pico de gallo, quiche, chicken enchiladas, chicken Alfredo…oh and let’s not forget the desserts: homemade mint chip ice cream, chocolate chip cookies and brownies. I love a good trip (plane, train or automobile). Visiting family is always an adventure with people in New York, Florida, Texas, Costa Rica and Southern & Central California. I’ve also been on missions trips in Mexico (for 11 of the last 12 years) and Ecuador. And my honeymoon was in London, England. I’m excited to see where God takes us on our next trip. Oh and one last thing. I’m a big time sports fan…USC for college football & Yankees Baseball. And I’m always cheering for the WJU Warriors!
