Parking Permits

Parking Permits are required for students, faculty, and staff while parking on campus. Vehicle information must be registered with Student Life to obtain a parking permit. The permit should be placed clearly visible on the back windshield on the driver’s side or on the back bumper, driver’s side. The same Parking Permit sticker is to be used for all four years of school. Cars that do not display a Parking Permit will be fined. Fines start at $50 each.

If a vehicle is changed, Student Life must be informed of the new vehicle and information. Failure to do so will result in a ticket.

Off campus students are issued an orange permit sticker. On campus students (those living in the dorms) receive a green permit sticker. Staff receives black permit stickers. Only orange and black permits are allowed to use the parking lot located in front of the campus.

If you move from off campus housing into the dorms, you must contact Campus Safety for a red permit sticker. Otherwise, you will receive a ticket if you park in the front parking lot with a green commuter sticker.

Avoid parking in areas that are not marked for parking (such as on the grass or in an open field.) Only park in clearly marked parking spaces. If the front lot becomes full, please use the rear parking lot.

If you have specific questions regarding the parking requirements at WJU, you may refer to the student handbook or contact the Office of Campus Safety at 916-577-2321.

We appreciate your co-operation as we strive to maintain order and better serve you and the campus community.
