Automatic Enrollment
Insurance coverage has always been a mandatory part of the registration process at WJU. All students carrying 6 units or more are automatically enrolled in the student medical plan and charged accordingly. Students found in non-compliance may result in disciplinary action up to and including dismissal.

Procedure to Waive/Decline
In order to waive out of this program, our insurance broker requires that you fill out the:
The waiver above must be submitted online using the "submit" button at the bottom of the form. Waivers are processed weekly and an email confirmation will be sent to the email address entered on the form once the fee has been credited (new students please use a personal email address as your jessup.edu email may not be active at the time you complete this waiver). If you have any questions regarding the waiver process that are not answered by the included information, please contact the Office of Student Life at 916-577-2321.
*Please note that one of the last questions on the form does not necessarily require number entry. Many Insurance Companies such as Kaiser and Blue Cross may have an unlimited Lifetime Maximum Benefit per Sickness or Injury. If this is true for your policy, please enter your answer as "unlimited".
