  • Broiler ovens or toasters
  • Microwaves
  • Electric skillets, saucepans, rice cookers, or hot plates
  • Oil popcorn poppers
  • Electric heaters/space heaters
  • Light-weight multi-plug extension cords*
  • Four-way or “cheater blocks”
  • Electric blankets
  • Any appliance not marked U/L approved
  • Any appliance with an exposed heating unit
  • Any lamp with a halogen bulb
  • Pets (fish acceptable only, in a 5-gallon tank or less)
  • Candles, incense, potpourri pots
  • Any posters with inappropriate contents

 

*Surge protectors are recommended for sensitive electronic equipment and required when more than two electrical devices are plugged into a single outlet.
