Sarah Kern is a native of Northern California and graduated with a B.A. in psychology from Simpson University. During school, Sarah discovered her passion for community development and traveling abroad. She also came to love residence life as she served as a resident assistant, assistant resident assistant, and small group leader. In her downtime, Sarah enjoys bike riding, creative art projects, reading, and spending quality time with old and new friends on walks and over coffee.

My name is Jon Lorente I am married to my amazing bride, Abby. We consider ourselves blessed to be
living in community with all of the students at WJU! We were married in July 2007 after working together at a camp on Catalina Island. For several years I
called San Diego my home while completing my Bachelors Degree in Human Development. I then had the opportunity to work in Resident Life at two other
universities before joining up with WJU in 2009. I am currently a student at Azusa Pacific working on my graduate degree in Leadership and Organizational
Studies. I love talking about God, spending time with people and being outdoors…particularly rock climbing, kayaking and backpacking. Drop by Tiffin

Jessup Apartments- Resident Director Jennifer Ribb

Jenn Ribb grew up in Central California and graduated from Fresno Pacific University where she was a Resident Assistant for two years. After graduating, and before coming to Jessup, Jenn worked at a Christian camp near Yosemite where she assisted with an outdoor education program for 6th graders. You’ll find Jenn spending her spare time going on walks, making blackberry jam, playing ultimate Frisbee, watching a movie, enjoying a conversation over a cup of coffee or tea, and spending time with her husband Josh!
