Phillips Hall- Sarah Kern
Hey there, all you brand new faces and returning on-campus students! My name is Sarah Kern and I'm the Resident Director of Phillips Hall. A few fun facts about me: I enjoy mixing strange foods, have a dream to become a pilates instructor, and love grueling hikes and bike rides. I'll be a full-time grad student this fall in an Urban Studies program at Eastern University. In my down time, you'll find me doing pilates, learning new Spanish phrases, reading interesting novels, and singing along with the guitar. This is my third year at WJU, and I'm thrilled to serve with my awesome team of resident assistants: Mariana, Maria, Melinda, and Michelle--yes, a bit of a mouthful to say! These 4 will be an incredible source of support and joy for all who live in their wings or cross their paths. I can't wait to meet each of you and to witness what Christ has in store for our individual growth and development as a community this year! I pray that Phillips Hall will continue to be a place of laughter, creativity, new discoveries, trust, and ever-increasing love for the Lord and one another. See you soon!

My name is Becca and I am a recent graduate from a Masters program at Azusa Pacific University. I love working in a college student environment because of the constant challenge of meeting people where they are at and building meaningful and life-giving relationships. God has blessed me with so many passions and ideas of what life could and should be like. My relationship with the Lord has sustained me through an interesting and sometimes difficult journey thus far in my life.
I love spending time with friends and family, reading, exploring new places, having deep and difficult conversations, dancing when no one is looking, working hard and then relaxing! I am married to a wonderful man, Evan, and we are so excited to be living here at Jessup!

Hello All,
My name is Nick Breitbart and my wife Sheri and I will be serving at WJU
in Tiffin Hall and Campus Ministries. This upcoming year is a very
exciting year for the University and I am so excited to be a part of the
adventure as a Resident Director. It is so clear to me that we are
created to live in community and I am honored to raise our family
invested in and serving alongside the Jessup Community. We are also
eagerly awaiting our new son, come September, as the youngest resident to ever
live in Tiffin Hall. As an alumni of Jessup I am thrilled to have the
opportunity to give back to the institution that gave so much to me.

I am married to the most beautiful girl in the world Allison. We have a great 4 month old baby girl named Isabella. I am an avid outdoorsman that likes to do just about anything. I like to drink coffee with anybody that is willing to go with me. I love meeting new friends and hearing stories about peoples lives! I am excited to see how God works in the community to build his kingdom. I believe that we are here to engage and challenge every person in the community to further their relationship with God and each other. Furthermore I hope and pray that we can challenge and empower students in all aspects of their lives. I also hope to help students develop the passions that they already have and discover new ones.
