Q: Is there anything I need to do before attending NSO?
A: YES! Please fill out the online registration form on Discovery to RSVP for NSO. By registering for NSO, we are able to plan ahead to provide a t-shirt and welcome packet for you.
A: New Student Orientation is an opportunity for all students that are new to the WJU community to spend time getting to know staff, faculty, and fellow students. This is a chance for you to familiarize yourself with the campus and begin to feel like part of the WJU family. Parents and family are invited to attend and participate in NSO sessions and activities on the first two days of NSO.
A: NSO events are free for new students. Please register online to see additional fees that may come up and notify WJU orientation staff of friends and family members that will be attending.

Q: Is NSO the same as my registration and orientation day?
A: NSO is not the same as the registration day you attended over the summer. When you arrive for NSO, you will already be registered for classes and have gone through advising. NSO is a weekend packed with activities to help you and family become a part of life at WJU.
