26th - NSO Service Day - New students will serve at one of eight different sites in the community during their New Student Orientation.

26th - Help the Homeless Ministry - Share the love of Jesus with the homeless of Sacramento.

5th - Christian Encounter Sunday - Christian Encounter Ministries provides troubled students from 16-25
with an outlet to straighten up their lives. This is a great
opportunity to serve at the Ranch and minister to students. Every first
Sunday of the month we will be going to church at Christian Encounter
and spending time with students. This is a great time to connect with
people your own age. For information and updates about students at

11th - Rocklin's Make a Difference Day - Serve in the community where you live at one of five community parks helping with the Oak Tree Restoration/Reforestation Planting and Maintenance Projects. Meet at 8:00am at Twin Oaks Park to receive a site assignment.
18th - Life is Good Pumpkin Festival - 12:00-6:00 This national festival is raising support for Homeaid and Project Joy. Homeaid provides homes to temporarily homeless children and families. Project Joy reaches out, bringing healing to children wounded by past trauma. Help run games, pumpkin carving contests and enjoy great food!
24th - Help the Homeless Ministry

2nd - Christian Encounter Sunday
7th - 9th - YWAM San Francisco - Be the hands and feet of Christ by serving hot chocolate and eating a sack lunch with someone homeless at Haight and Ashbury, by cleaning local businesses in the Tenderloin and by offering prayer to people at San Francisco's famous waterfront, the Embarcadero.
14th - OCC Marathon - Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God’s love. Since 1993, more than 61 million shoe boxes have been packed, shipped, and delivered across the globe. This is the day you can contribute a filled shoe box and Outreach Ministries will deliver it during the national collection week! www.samaritanspurse.org
14th - Help the Homeless Ministry
