An essential aspect of the Christian life and spiritual formation at WJU is learning to serve others. Modeled from the life of Jesus and His early disciples, students are encouraged to serve in as many different capacities as possible within the community and abroad.
WJU focuses on two primary areas:
Full-time WJU students are expected to serve in Volunteer Service for part of their graduation requirements. Please see local Volunteer Service opportunities, requirements and other info.
Additionally, WJU offers several domestic and overseas short-term mission opportunities. These include trips to most of the major continents, as well as within North America.
