Master of Arts in Teaching

Master of Arts in Teaching

SPS partners with the Education Department to offer a Master of Arts in Teaching with a Math or English single subject or multiple subject teaching credential on both our Rocklin Campus and Bay Area Center. This one evening a week program quickly covers 45 units of teaching preparation courses taught by lifelong classroom teachers who possess both the requisite academic pedigree and practical experience in the scholar practitioner model. It is designed for working adults and non-credentialed teachers to complete in 16 months and become eligible for teaching employment. Built around a cohort model, candidates in the program quickly bond and grow as they learn together. The cost and time to complete compares very favorably with other Masters programs.
