Federal and State Grants
Federal and state grants are forms of need-based financial aid that does not need to be repaid. Need-based financial aid is distributed based on financial need as determined by the FAFSA. Below is a list of the federal and state grants available at William Jessup University.

Veterans Benefits
William Jessup University fully participates in all educational benefits for veterans, including those related to the Chapter 33 Post 9/11 GI Bill, the Montgomery GI Bill and all other education benefits administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs!

| Process: |
After completing the Application for Benefits, the Department of Veterans Affairs will issue you a Certificate of Eligibility (COE). You will then need to submit a copy of your Application for Benefits (VA Form 22-1990), the COE and a copy of your DD Form 214 to David Judy (School Certifying Official) in the Financial Aid Office at William Jessup University. |
| NOTE: Since GI Bill Veterans Benefits are based entirely on the number of units for which you are registered, it is imperative that you contact David Judy anytime you add or drop units. In addition to the tuition benefit of the Yellow Ribbon Program, students may also be eligible for these added benefits: |
| Book Stipend: Pays you $41.67 per unit per semester (up to $1,000 for each academic year). |
| Monthly Housing Allowance (BAH): To be eligible for BAH, you must be enrolled for 7 or more units per semester. |
Institutional Aid
Institutional aid is a form of financial aid that does not need to be repaid. Institutional aid is funded and offered by William Jessup University.

Up to $2,000 per year

| Eligibility: |
This grant is available to all students who are members of churches that financially support William Jessup University. The Church Partnership Grant Application must be filled out by a pastor (at the supporting church) who knows the applicant well. |
| Deadline: |
Church Partnership Grant Application must be submitted by August 15 for Fall, December 15 for Spring and April 15 for Summer. Funds are limited. Priority given to early applicants. |
| Renewal: |
This grant must be applied for each year with a new application. |
