ROCKLIN, Calif., – William Jessup University, the first WASC accredited private, four-year residential Christian Liberal Arts University in the greater Sacramento region will celebrate its annual Commencement on Saturday, May 17 from 10 a.m. to noon at Adventure Christian Church in Roseville.

“Jessup students graduating in 2014 are equipped and ready to impact their world for the glory of God in the local church, the marketplace, at home, in our communities, locally and globally,” said Dr. John Jackson, president of the 75 year-old university.

Approximately 257 students are graduating this May with the majority of graduates receiving psychology, business and ministry related bachelor degrees. This year marks the ninth graduation ceremony celebrated by the university since its move to Rocklin in 2004.

TICKETS TO COMMENCEMENT

Tickets for commencement will be distributed in late April. Each student is allotted 10 tickets.

We have the largest graduating class in WJU history this year! At this time we have so many requests for the maximum amount of 10 tickets that we do not have any tickets available for the lottery. We have found that, as commencement draws near, students have a better calculation of duplicate distributions or loved ones who are not able to attend as originally planned. Should you find that you have need for fewer tickets than originally requested, we would appreciate an email so that we can redistribute those to larger requests.

As this happens and we have enough to hold a lottery, we will begin that process. Please stay tuned to hear if you “won” the lottery for more tickets. You will be contacted via Jessup email.

STILL NEED TICKETS?? We will be livestreaming the ceremony. Now Aunt Martha in Kalamazoo can watch along with you! Go to www.live.jessup.edu.

REGALIA

Regalia (cap and gown) and announcement orders will be different this year in that graduates will order directly from Jostens and have them delivered right to you. MAT students should order their hoods directly from Jostens as well. Please note your order can take up to 3 weeks to arrive so place your order soon.
