Meet the PFI Staff

Mark McReynolds, Program Director
Mark’s formal education consists of a B.S. in Natural Science, a M.Div. in Christian Education and he is currently working on a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies with an end goal of stabilizing populations of Scarlet Macaws in Belize. His work experience includes outdoor education and camp administration, Elderhostel, community college and university level instruction, as well as substitute teaching for grades K-12. He also has interpretive experience from a nature center, state park, and the CA Dept. of Fish and Game. Mark has been a Treasurer and Chair of the northern section of the Association of Environmental and Outdoor Education.

Mary McFarland, Administrative Assistant
Mary was born and raised in Southern California, but enjoyed forests and state beaches each summer. Mary worked in industry, a state school for the mentally retarded, two school systems, and 16 years as an Administrative Assistant in a church office. In June of 2004, she and her husband relocated to Roseville from the Bay Area to work at William Jessup University, where her husband teaches. Married in 1965, and celebrating her 40th wedding anniversary in August 2005, she is the mother of a son and daughter, and has three granddaughters.
