Northern California is loaded with bears, big bears. Hunting bears with dogs is something that needs to be experienced to be believed. Keith and Lori will work hard to put you on the bears. They particularly enjoy introducing new hunters to the sport, especially kids. This is a fair chase hunt. Minimum donation: $1500.00

6. Pig Hunting in Maxwell: Jim Clark

California is loaded with pigs. They’re wonderful to hunt and provide a very exciting challenge with a bow. Come on out and test your skills. Pigs also make fantastic table fare. Minimum donation: $400 for a single.

Outdoor Fun:

1. Steve Stassi Taxidermy

After a memorable hunt, you may want to preserve the memory. Steve is an award winning taxidermist and is well known for his beautiful mounts. Located in Marysville, he’s conveniently located to drop off your game after the hunt. Minimum donation: $200. (A $200 gift certificate towards a mount)

2. White Water Rafting

Ride the rapids of the South Fork of the American River, max group size of 7. The South Fork is one of the most popular recreational whitewater runs in the country, right in our backyard. The class III run is great fun for novice or seasoned whitewater veteran. The trip starts at Henningson Lotus Park and finishes at Folsom Lake. Your guide, Bill Wagner, is a long time whitewater enthusiast, with 25 years of floating rivers, provides all equipment and expertise for navigating the rapids. You provide the paddle power and the river does the rest! This is a private float not a commercial raft trip. Winning bidder will coordinate exact date, time, and transportation logistics with Bill. Minimum donation: $500 for 7 people.
