William Jessup and Bryce Jessup showing their fish!
WJU Outdoor Adventures offers hunting and fishing expeditions led by top guides in their respective fields.
These expeditions are an opportunity to experience God's wonderful outdoors while advancing God's global purposes of reaching the world with the love of God. All proceeds go to the Global Center for Church Planting at William Jessup University.
WJU Outdoor Adventures has been established in memory of William Jessup University's founder, William "Bill" Jessup, who loved the outdoors. At left, William Jessup is pictured with his son, Bryce Jessup, president of William Jessup University.
According to Bryce, every year his father would get a case of "pine treeitus" -- a sickness that only the smell of pine trees could cure. "It was around June that we would head for Tuolumne Meadows on the eastern edge of Yosemite National Park. There we would fish for at least two weeks in the beautiful high-elevation streams and the pristine lakes of the high country. His 'sickness' was soon healed when we caught fighting Rainbow and colorful Eastern Brook trout!"
