Jessup’s Lecture Series Examines the Future of Renewable Energy

William Jessup University will host the second of a three part lecture series that examines the Future of Business Trends. The second lecture focuses on the Future of Renewable Energy and features a panel of five experts who bring diverse representation of the topic. The free event is open to the public and held on April 8 at 7 p.m. in the University’s Lecture Hall.

Panel members include Reid Rutherford of Roseville based Start-up Company; Inspired Solar Technologies, Inc. Rutherford will present information about solar innovation, generation and delivery.

Discussing forestry and stewardship is Mark Luster of Sierra Pacific Industries.

Eric McAfee of AE Biofuels will talk about entrepreneurship and venture capital for renewable energy.

Jason Buckingham of Golden Sierra Job Training Agency will report about Federal Grant options to support green jobs.

SMUD’s H.I. Bud Beebe will discuss environmental policy and regulatory affairs.
