5th Annual Public Policy Day - May 7
The Public Policy Department is hosting the 5th Annual Public Policy Day May 7th in the WJU Lecture Hall. The luncheon will feature our district's local, state, and national elected officials who will highlight current and upcoming policy issues. Featured speakers include Mayor Scott Yuill, Assemblyman Ted Gaines, State Senator Tim Leslie (ret.), and Congressman Tom McClintock. Senior Public Policy students will also present their senior seminar projects on: economic and constitutional threats in the US, impact of technology for PR/marketing of presidential elections, and key underlying factors of human trafficking in the Mexico, Russia, and Thailand. The senior presentations are free and open to the public, and the luncheon is also open to the public (lunch registration is free for WJU students; $5/WJU faculty/staff; $7/public).
