Streaming Media: Naxos Music Library and Films on Demand are both available through the library. Naxos Music Library is a streaming music library that contains 550,000 tracks of classical, world, folk, and jazz music. Films on Demand is a well-organized collection of several thousand educational films on music, history, business, the humanities, psychology, science, and careers.

Non-Streaming Media: The library has a growing collection of media (in both entertainment and educational categories) that includes DVDs , VHS, CDs, and cassettes.

Computers: The library has 14 computer stations, 37 ports to plug into our network from your laptop, and wireless access to the Internet from anywhere in the library. Every library computer is equipped with a DVD drive. Each registered student has a WJU ID and Password which will allow you to login the network and access your WJU email account.

Printing: The library has printing capabilities from any of our computer stations. Each registered student will receive $50 of printing credit each year (approx. five-hundred pages of black and white printing). Additional printing costs are $.05 per black and white page and $.25 per color page.

Photocopies: The library has a copy machine that costs five cents per copy. 

Computer Lab: The Computer Lab is considered a classroom; it is also available for library research and individual work when class is not in session.

Media Lab: The Media Lab is for music classes. It is also a lab for MIDI Composition when class is not in session. Please use headphones when playing the keyboards.

Media / AV equipment available at the library: There are a number of AV items that can be checked out of the library and/or used within the library by current WJU students, faculty, and staff. Contact the library circulation desk if you are interested in using/checking out one of these items:

  • Projector screens
  • TV/DVD/VCRs on carts
  • Headphones
  • Photography/Video lightboxes
  • Cassette tape recorders
