"But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him."

Jeremiah 17:7

Citation Help

It is important to properly document sources in academic writing. The reference librarians can help with some of the technical aspects of MLA, APA and Chicago Style. We also provide access to web based resources and make recommendations of other helpful tools and websites, some of which you will find below. There is also a writing lab located on the second floor of the library dedicated to assisting WJU students in the writing process. Check the Writing Lab's website for hours and contact information.

Citation Tools and Help

NoodleTools - A Bibliographic composer and integrated note-taking tool for use with both APA and MLA styles

  • WJU students have access to all the resources and tools found on the NoodleTools website through the WJU Library subscription when on campus. Get off campus access by creating a Personal ID at the NoodleTools website while on campus, or by linking to it from this website. Keep track of this Personal ID and password since these accounts are not managed by the Library or IT department.

Zotero - A free Firefox plug-in that allows you to save citations to websites, books, and any other media you use for a research project.

  • When you complete your research, Zotero can create a bibliography according to a number of different citation styles. Zotero has to be installed on your personal computer. It is not available on the library computers.

Citation Styles - Several citation styles are used at Jessup. Your instructor will indicate which is required for your class.
