Renewals:
If there is not a hold on the item(s), materials may be renewed once. Renewals may also be made over the phone at 916-577-2288. or e-mail us at library [at] jessup [dot] edu.
Holds:
If an item is checked out by another person, that item may be put on "hold." When the item is returned, the requesting patron will be contacted and given three days to pick it up before it is placed back into the regular library collection.
Overdue Items:
If materials are returned past the date/hour marked on the item, an overdue fine will be charged. All items must be returned to the library the day they are due to avoid a late fee. Also, items may be returned in the book drop outside the main entrance to the library.
If a patron loses any library materials, he/she must notify the library immediately. Patrons will be charged a replacement and service fee for the lost item.
Fines:
| $0.25/day: | Books, kits, audio tapes, TE Books, 3-day & 1 week reserve items. |
| $1.00/day: | Videotapes |
| $0.25/hour: | 2-hour/overnight reserve items. |
Please note: We are more interested in having materials returned than charging overdue fines. Fines hold patrons accountable for returning items on time so others may use them.

1. Current price of book.
2. $25 handling fee
*In the event a book is lost, but no payment is received, borrowing privileges are suspended until fees are collected.
