Visiting the library:
The WJU Library welcomes visitors looking for a place to read, study, or conduct research. For the safety of our campus community and our visitors we ask all visitors to simply register at the circulation desk upon arrival. The library staff enjoys having visitors and will support them in any way possible although there may be times when priority is given to the WJU community for resources and assistance. For additional library support it is advisable to seek assistance and privileges through one’s primary library (e.g. a Public Library for the general public or College/School Library for non WJU students). For visitors interested in borrowing materials directly from the WJU library, we offer a local community library card.
Local Community Library Cards (LCLC):
Adult residents of the greater Sacramento area may register for a Local Community Library Card to gain borrowing privileges and computer access. Registration may be done at the Circulation desk by presenting a picture ID, filling out an application and paying a $50 fee for the year. This fee is waived for Alumni and local clergy by providing evidence of this status. The fee may also be waived during the summer months for students of Rocklin area high schools. Summer months are determined by the WJU calendar and registration must be done with a parent/guardian present. In addition to filling out the application, high school students must show a school ID and a parent/guardian must show a photo ID.
