IT

The mission of the Information Technology Services (ITS) department is to provide technical support to WJU students, faculty, and staff. Our services include the residence hall network, campus phone services, voicemail, e-mail, network connections, wireless, multimedia classrooms, and the campus computer labs.

William Jessup's Rocklin campus is networked with a campus-wide Ethernet-based network configuration that utilizes the TCP/IP protocol. The campus is linked by gigabit, multimode fiber-optics cable network. Buildings are wired with CAT-6. A 10 Mbps Internet fiber link is dedicated to student traffic.

As an integral part of the campus network, wireless capability is provided throughout the entire campus, including the open spaces between and around the buildings. The campus has 100 percent indoor and outdoor 801.11b/g coverage. A password is required to login to the wireless network.
