V.P. For Advancement
Currently serves William Jessup University as the Vice President for University Advancement, leading the University’s efforts with regard to fund-raising (annual, planned, and capital giving), strategic planning, as well as public, media, alumni and church relations. Additionally serves as the Executive Director of the newly formed William Jessup University Foundation.
Joe previously served as Vice President for Advancement & Student Life (1999-2004) and formerly as Dean of Students (1997-1999) at San Jose Christian College (SJCC), San Jose, CA. Prior to his work at SJCC, Joe served in a number of capacities at California Baptist University in Riverside, CA and Northwest Christian College in Eugene, OR.
Womack has presented numerous workshops for the Association of Christians in Student Development, National Association of Christians Admissions Personnel, Western Association of Admissions Personnel, California Southern Baptist Youth Convention, Association of Christian Schools International, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Christian College Student Leadership Conference, and Rocklin Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Program. He has also served as Keynote speaker on various youth, leadership, student development, and Christian faith topics in California, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Texas, Tennessee, and Washington.
Married 13 years to wife Kristine and has four sons. The Womacks are active members of One-Life Christian Church in Lincoln, as well as in various youth sports programs.
