Supporting William Jessup University

William Jessup University is about more than the transfer of knowledge and a quality education - it is about preparing Christians for leadership and service in church and society. With a student to faculty ratio of 11 to 1 and an entire campus community dedicated solely to growing the whole person, WJU is a place where students are transformed, challenged and supported throughout their university experience.

More than 80% of William Jessup University students need some form of financial aid each year. The move to the new campus and addition of new academic programs has attracted a record number of new students. We have the highest enrollment in the history of the university. With over 600 students enrolled in fall 2006, approximately 500 students will apply for financial aid. During the 2006-2007 school year William Jessup University will provide $1.6 million in scholarships to students who qualify.

As an independent, non-profit university, WJU has two primary sources of revenue – tuition and gift support. In order to keep tuition at a level that enables the University to serve as broad a range of students as possible, WJU relies on the generous support of alumni, friends, corporations and foundations.

The Advancement Office works to raise charitable contributions in support of the mission of William Jessup University. Contributions are made in a variety of ways and used to enhance the programs and services that make a WJU education distinctive.
