Education – Part-Time

William Jessup University is accepting applications from qualified adjunct faculty to teach in the accelerated degree completion program of the Education Department at the Bay Area (San Jose) Campus. This program delivers courses in the evening, one night a week over a 5-7 week time frame (with a blended online component) which makes it viable for working professionals who desire to teach. Ideal candidates will possess a relevant PhD; a relevant MA or MS degree is acceptable. Qualified candidates should have previous teaching experience, preferably at the college level, and have minimum 5 years working professionally within the field in which they will be teaching.  Adjuncts are needed for the following courses:

EDU572 Research and Statistics - 

Essential Job Functions:
1. Authentically support the mission, vision, and values of the university and department
2. Model the highest standards of professional, responsible, accountable and ethical conduct
3. Remain current with the latest developments, research and best practices of the discipline
4. Proven ability to teach and use SPSS Statistics
5. Collaborative influencer and presenter at the “The Education Conference”
6. Complete a course educational effectiveness analysis and evaluation as a basis for the development of a continuous improvement plan

EDU509 C&M II: Creating and Maintaining Effective Learning Environments - 

Essential Job Functions:
