Women's Head Soccer Coach
Jamie Howard is the head women's soccer coach at William Jessup University . Howard was a part of the Lady Warrior's soccer team in 2005 as she transferred from CSU-Sacramento, where she previously played. As a player, Howard was a team captain and led the Warriors in scoring with 7 goals and assists with 3 assists on the year. She also was voted NAIA player of the week and team Offensive MVP. During the 2006-2007 season Coach Howard was a big part of the Warriors success on the soccer field as she helped as an assistant coach. Howard also has experience coaching at the club level for the past 7 years. In 2005, Howard was named NSCAA Regional Girls Youth Coach of the Year for the western region of the . She is a CYSA Licensing Instructor, holds her NSCAA National Coaching License and CYSA National "D" Coaching License. “Coach Howard possesses the skills to run an organized and competitive program at the NAIA level,” explains WJU Athletic Director Farnum Smith. Coach Howard graduated from CSUS in Fall 2006. “ William Jessup University is such an amazing school. I really am blessed to be a part of this program. I look forward to helping these girls grow as players, as a team and in their relationship with God,” says Howard. She will be taking over a team with a record of 5-8-2 and is returning 10 letter winners.
