Rocklin, CA-The Lady Warriors are excited to announce the signing of Maria Viola. Maria, soon to be a graduate of Nevada Union High School in Grass Valley, brings her athletic and academic prowess to William Jessup University for the 2008-2009 season. At 6' tall, she has a very well-rounded game and will bring a lot to the court for the Lady Warriors.

Roseville, CA- The Lady Warriors of William Jessup University made things happen on Saturday night to defeat CSU-Maritime by the score 48-39. At the end of the first half of the score was 26-16. In the second half both teams came played really tough but the Lady Warriors stayed the course and were able to come out on top in the end. Jessup was led in scoring by Rachelle Russell (18 points and 11 rebounds) and Kia Shaw (10 points and 5 assists. Maritime was led by Nakia Watson (19 points and 8 rebounds). Jessup is currently 6-6 in conference and 6-13 overall.
