Lady Warriors Sweep Bethany, Menlo

Rocklin, Calif.- After starting the year with thirteen road games, the William Jessup University softball team finally hosted their first ever home stand against Bethany University and Menlo College. The Warriors used timely hitting and powerful pitching to sweep the weekend series over the Bruins and the Lady Oaks. Jessup outscored their opponents 24-1 in route to a 4-0 weekend.

Medford, Ore. - The William Jessup University softball team is off to a great start in their inaugural season. The Warriors went 3-2 over the weekend at the Southern Oregon University Tournament.
Besseghini Named Back-to-Back Pitcher of the Week

Rocklin, CA - William Jessup University pitcher Kara Besseghini was selected as the California Pacific Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for the dates of February 15th through 22nd, 2010.
Beeseghini, a native of Dixon, California, pitched 8 innings last week for the Warriors who went 1-1 on the week. Besseghini started for the Warriors in the second game of their doubleheader versus Academy of Art University. She gave eight hits and one run in the win.
Softball Steals Game 2 To Earn Split With AAU

San Francisco, CA- After a good showing last weekend, the William Jessup University softball team was back in action at NCAA DII member Academy of Art University. In game one of the doubleheader, the Knights were able to rally enough runs to come out on top with a 7-6 win. However, Jessup rallied in the final inning of the second game for an 8-6 victory.
Besseghini Named CALPAC Pitcher Of The Week

Rocklin, Calif. - William Jessup University pitcher Kara Besseghini was selected as the California Pacific Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for the dates of February 8th through 15th, 2010.
Besseghini, a native of Dixon, California, pitched 16 innings last week for the Warriors, who went 3-3 in the first week of its inaugural season. Besseghini started for the Warriors in an 8-1 win over Biola University in Redding for their first ever victory in school history.
