Men's Basketball

William Jessup University recently announced the signing of Marques Rodriguez for the Men’s Basketball program.

Rodriguez, a 6' 3'' wing, is from Brawley Union High School in Brawley, CA. He was voted 1st Team All-Valley league, San Diego Union All Academic team, as well his team MVP both his junior and senior year. Marques averaged 17.0 points and 6.1 rebounds per season for the Wildcats. He will major in youth ministry while a William Jessup University.

ROCKLIN, Calif., – William Jessup University recently announced the signing of Bobby Cofrances for the Men’s Basketball program.

Cofrances, a 6' 3'' wing, is from Horizon Christian School in Hood River, Oregon. During his senior year, Cofrances led the Hawks to a 29-2 record and a state tournament appearance. He was voted to 1st Team All-State this year while averaging 22.3 points and 6.6 rebounds per game during his team’s run for the state championship. He will major in Teacher Education while at William Jessup University.

Rocklin, CA-The California Pacific Conference released the winners of the awards listed below this last week, all selections were voted by the head coaches of the conference. Lucas Birchard (14.8 ppg and 6.1 rpg), a Junior from Lodi, CA, was chosen to the all conference team for the 2nd year in a row. The Warriors finished with a 17-12 record 9-7 in conference play and were knocked out in the finals of the conference tournament, one game away from the national tournament.
