HAMILTON, OHIO- Jay Weislogel is glad to be down in the dumps, so to speak, this summer.
The Hamilton, OH native will spend the bulk of his summer in Mexico on a medical mission under the auspices of Operation Serve International, a Fairfield-based medical mission group.
Griffin Named CALPAC Scholar Athlete of the Year

Rocklin, Calif.- Curtis Griffin, a men's soccer player from William Jessup University with a 3.915 GPA, and Deborah Bekowies, a volleyball player from Menlo College with a 3.952 GPA, are the inaugural California Pacific Conference Scholar Athletes of the Year as selected by the conference's executive committee.
Griffin and Morency Honored As NAIA Scholar-Athlete
Rocklin, Calif. - As announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), William Jessup University senior middle fielder Curtis Griffin (Essex, England) and senior defender Luke Morency (Willows, Calif.) were two of the 256 men’s soccer players nationwide named 2009 Daktronics-NAIA Men’s Soccer Scholar-Athletes.
Warriors Men’s Soccer Players Earn Conference Honors
Rocklin, Calif. - The William Jessup University men's soccer team finished on a positive note in an upset victory over Holy Names University. The Warriors, who finished 3rd in the conference with a 7-4-1 record, placed three placed three players on the California Pacific Conference first team, two on the second team and had four players receive honorable mention honors, Commissioner Don Ott announced today.
