Brian Priddin
Head Track and Cross Country Coach
Brian Priddin holds 8 coaching certifications from the US Olympic Committee:
USA Cycling (Level 1), USA Swimming (Level 2), Track and Field (Level 1) and USA Triathlon (Level 2). He has served as the head coach for the US National team at the ITU World Cup series for USA Triathlon. (Ishigaki, Japan and Eilat, Israel in 2007).
In 2007, he spent 6 weeks at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO working with the US Olympic Team. Coach Brian has served on,and now chairs, USA Triathlon’s National Coaching Committee since 2004.
Coach Brian has a Master of Business Administration degree and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Bible College and Seminary.
Coach Brian has run competitively since junior high school, is an expert mountain and road bike racer, has competed in over 40 triathlons of various lengths; from sprint to full ironman.
Brian also founded Team in Faith ministries in 2003. He has work with over 1000 athletes of various ages and abilities. Through Team in Faith, he has offered hundreds of free group work outs and clinics, youth camps and provided support to numerous athletes.
He has published articles on training young athletes, spoken at numerous seminars and training camps and is currently working on a book on youth triathlon training.
He will challenge you to become a servant leader for Christ.
Jacob Rydman
Assistant Track and Cross Country Coach
Jacob Rydman has been a standout middle-distance runner at Sutter High School, Yuba College and at William Jessup University. Coach Jacob brings an enthusiasm and experience to serve the students at WJU while having a genuine heart to listen to and love on people.
Jacob has served as an assistant coach at Capital Christian High School and is a valuable asset at William Jessup University. Jacob graduated from William Jessup University with a Bachelors Degree in Youth Ministry and Bible and Theology. Jacob's life goals are to train up future godly leaders from among the youth of this world while striving to be the absolute best possible husband and father he can be.
