Rocklin, CA-The Lady Warriors are excited to announce the signing of Maria Viola. Maria, soon to be a graduate of Nevada Union High School in Grass Valley, brings her athletic and academic prowess to William Jessup University for the 2008-2009 season. At 6' tall, she has a very well-rounded game and will bring a lot to the court for the Lady Warriors.
"Maria has a chance to be a special athlete in the Cal Pac, and we couldn't be more excited to have her sign. Not only is she an exceptional player, but she is an even better person. Athletically, academically, and spiritually, Maria is exceptional. We are pleased to welcome her to the family", Head Coach Scott Pisik said.
Viola led the Lady Miners to the playoffs each of the last three seasons and was a team captain.
