Warrior Basketball Teams Set For CALPAC Tournament

Rocklin, Calif. - The William Jessup University Basketball teams are set for the California Pacific Conference basketball tournaments set to begin this week.

The Jessup men's team finished the conference in a three-way tie for first place with a record of 9-3. Due to the conference tie breaker, the Warriors will be the #2 seed in the conference tournament. They will host Bethany University in the first round at 7:30 pm on Wednesday.

The Jessup women's team finished the conference in a tie for third place with a record of 7-5. Due to the conference tie breaker, the Lady Warriors will be the #4 seed in the conference tournament. They will host the #5 seed California Maritime University in the first round at 5:30 pm.

In the semi-final and championship rounds the men and women will play on different days to allow more campus support for the participating schools. All games will be played at the site of the higher seed. At stake is a trip to the NAIA national championship tournament.
