Stafford Coach of Year, McNamara and Jacomini 1st team All-Cal Pac

William Jessup University placed two players on the All-Conference volleyball first team and head coach Terry Stafford was named Coach of the Year, Commissioner Don Ott announced today.

Menlo College senior middle blocker Deborah Bekowies captured the Player of the Year award in the closest vote for Player of the Year in recent memory. Bekowies along with teammates Stephanie Williamson and Sarah Poole made the first team. William Jessup's Jennifer McNamara and Corissa Jacomini, Holy Names' Ashley Nickell and Pacific Union's Tiffany Jacobson. Bekowies, Williamson and Nickell were all unanimous choices for the first team balloting.

For the second consecutive year, Libero of the Year went to William Jessup's Corrisa Jacomini. The Newcomer of the Year is Holy Names's Rebecca Chase, the Freshman of the Year is Pacific Union's Tiffany Jacobson and the Coach of the Year is William Jessup's Terry Stafford.

Junior Geanna Foster was named to the All-Conference second team, while senior Kelsey Buchanan and junior Rachelle Russell made honorable mention All-Conference.
