Warriors Season Ends at the NAIA National Tournament

Point Lookout, Mo. - The William Jessup University men's basketball team made their first ever trip to the NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Tournament. The CALPAC Champion Warriors battled #4 seed Bellevue University throughout the game. However, Jessup went cold in the final five minutes as the Bruins pulled away for the 85-67 victory.

Rocklin, Calif. - The William Jessup University men's basketball team earned an automatic bid into the 2010 NAIA Men's Basketball Division II National Championship, which will be held on Mar. 10-16 in Point Lookout, Mo. on the campus of College of the Ozarks.

Rocklin, Calif. - The William Jessup University men's basketball team found themselves in familiar territory, as they took on Menlo College in the California Pacific Conference Tournament Championship game. The Warriors were making their third straight appearance in the championship game. Menlo College spoiled the Warriors effort two years ago and CSU-East Bay last year. In a nail biting game that featured 11 ties and 12 lead changes, the Warriors took control in the last minute of the game to secure an 83-76 victory in front of a packed house in the Warrior Dome.

Warriors Beat Simpson, Host CALPAC Championship Game

Rocklin, Calif. - The William Jessup University men's basketball team was back at home on Saturday night for the semi-finals of the California Pacific Conference Tournament against #6 seed Simpson University. After beating Simpson in the two regular season meetings, the Red Hawks gave the Warriors a battle. In a back and forth game, the Warriors took control down the stretch to earn an 84-75 victory.

Rocklin, Calif. - After finishing the regular season as the California Pacific Conference Co-Champions, the William Jessup University men's basketball team was set to take on Bethany University in the first round of the CALPAC Post-season tournament. The Warriors had beaten the Bruins in the two regular season matches. Jessup turned up the intensity and defensive pressure to build an early lead and cruise to a 66-55 victory.

Warriors Down Holy Names, Tie For First Place

Rocklin, Calif. - After coming off a disappointing loss to Menlo College, the William Jessup University men's basketball team was looking to get back on track in a key CALPAC matchup against Holy Names University. HNU was one game ahead of the Warriors in the standings and had big playoff implications. In a great battle, the Warriors slowly pulled away from the Hawks in the second half to secure a 68-60 win.

ATHERTON, Calif. - The William Jessup University men's basketball team was back on the road as they took on Menlo College. Jessup and Menlo were the two hottest teams in the Cal Pac coming into the night as both teams had won four of their last five. The Oaks jumped out to an early lead and never looked back as they downed the Warriors 64-56.

Scotts Valley, Calif. - The Redwood Auditorium in Scotts Valley is the one of the toughest home court advantages in the California Pacific Conference. The Warriors used a late runner by senior guard Jason Washington to beat an inspired Bethany University team 66-64.

Warriors Turn The Tables On Cal Maritime

Rocklin, Calif. - The William Jessup University Warriors welcomed in the first place California Maritime Keelhaulers in a key conference match-up. The game took on the strange tone of the two teams' last matchup in Vallejo where the Warriors had a double digit lead only to have the Keelhaulers come back for the win. However, this time the Warriors would erase a double-digit deficit to defeat the Keelhaulers 80-70 at the Warrior Dome.
