Tiger's Signing is Great for WJU Hoops
William Jessup University recently announced the signing of Michael Sabosky for the Men's Basketball program.
Sabosky, a 6' 2'' shooting guard, is from San Luis Obispo, California. He played his high school ball at San Luis Obispo High School for Coach John Jensen. During his senior year, he led the Tigers to a 21-7, winning the PAC-7 league. Michael was voted 2nd team all-league and honorable mention all-county. Sabosky averaged nearly 10 points and three steals a game, while also hauling in close to three rebounds per contest from the guard position for the Tigers. He shot better than 40% from behind the arc, and was the third leading scorer for his team.
Sabosky is excited to continue his playing career at a school like William Jessup.
"I really want to play college basketball and get a Christian education. After visiting campus and knowing I wanted to stay in California, it seemed like Jessup was the place God was leading me to continue my education," says Sabosky.
The Warriors have made two consecutive appearances in the Cal Pac Conference Championship game.
