Warriors Make Cal Pac All Conference Golf Team

Two Warrior golfers were honored this week by the Coaches in the Cal Pac Conference, as Sophomore Gareth Gobey and Freshman Zach Kuykendall were named second team selections.

Gobey, a native of Durban, South Africa, led the Warriors with 78.62 average score.  Kuykendall, in his first year of collegiate experience, averaged a 78.77.

Both players were key parts to a Warrior team that finished fourth in the Cal Pac, and made a strong charge at the end, taking third in the Cal Pac Championships hosted by Simpson University.

"I am proud of Zach and Gareth.  It's always an honor to be recognized by your competitors, and both of those guys definitely deserve it.  I am excited about the success we had this year and the foundation we have built for the future," Coach Matthew Stewart said.
