Institute Associate

Mathew Hahn

 

Education

Mathew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy with a concentration in Economics & Management, as well as a minor in Bible & Theology, from William Jessup University.

Experience

Matt Hahn is a member of William Jessup University’s class of ’12.  Before completing his undergraduate degree with WJU, Matt was a student at Bethany University until its closure. He has a wide variety of experience including retail, customer service, and international missions experience.  Matt is currently an intern at the Roseville Police Department with whom he has developed materials and assisted in orchestrating a multicounty, multidepartment, and multicity search and seizure raid.  He currently is pursuing a career in law enforcement and attending the Police Academy in the new year.  Matt brings his research and communication skills, servant heart, and growing body of public policy knowledge to assist in the continuing development of the Public Policy Department.


Institute Assistant

Lauren Hough

Lauren is a Senior in the Public Policy Department. Lauren is a strong and active student who currently has been serving on WJU’s Justice Coalition. She has been involved with a number of other organizations such as Living Well, Capital Resource Institute, Agape International Mission, and Crossroad’s Children’s Ministry. She also spent time volunteering at a local dance studio as an assistant Swing Dance Instructor. Lauren attended Sierra College as academic enrichment during high school, and graduated from Forest Charter School. She completed an internship at Congressman McClintock's district office Spring of her Sophomore year. Last summer she traveled to Cambodia on a mission trip with WJU to work with Agape International Mission (AIM) and victims of human trafficking. She also be traveled last summer to Washington DC as a California Eagle Forum Scholar to attend the Eagle Forum Summit held at the Heritage Foundation. This coming Summer she will again be traveling to Cambodia with a team from WJU to work with AIM.
