Election Forum 2012:
This event included a candidate forum focusing on regional issues and featured a number of candidates who ran for local offices, particularly Rocklin and Roseville City Council. This event also included a proposition forum to review the various ballot initiatives of this election year. In particular, we hosted representatives of both sides of the issues for Proposition 30: temporary tax for education funding, Proposition 34: the death penalty in California, and Proposition 37: required labeling for genetically modified foods. The Election Forum also provided voter registration opportunities and informational materials regarding the candidates and issues. We look forward to putting on more of these events in the future.
