
PPI Partners with mPower Placer to Promote Energy Efficiency Opportunities for Local Businesses
The Public
Policy Institute partnered with mPower Placer to survey local business'
to determine their energy effieciency needs and offer programs to help
finance energy efficient retrofitting. mPower is a Placer County
financing program which helps Placer County's local, non-residential
businesses to finance energy and water efficiency improvements. On
behalf of mPower, PPI partnered with Public Policy Department students
to organize a canvassing effort to identify businesses interested in
free energy audits and cost-saving tips for environmental and energy
upgrades. The report summarizes PPI's findings and provides key
recommendations for consideration by mPower Placer.
