What inspires you to do what you do?
Ahmad has been administering and teaching in the higher education for over 19 years, at the American University of Technology, Lebanon; New York College; State University of New York; Institute Universitaire Kurt Boch, Switzerland; International Technological University, San Jose CA, UC Berkeley, CA; Cogswell College, Sunnyvale, CA, and William Jessup University, as core Faculty – Assistant Professor in the Business Department. In addition, teaching Project Management, Entrepreneurship Management, Market Research, and Organizational Teamwork, He enjoys applying his new teaching methodology in the Advertising Strategies, Accounting Information System, Management Information System, Quality Management, Strategic Management and many other practical courses related to the professional field he spent over 17 years working with Fortune 100 companies. He managed projects through contracting, advising, consulting and leading projects for KPMG, Procter & Gamble, SAP, Google, CISCO Incubators, Orange Telecom, Levi’s, between the Middle East in addition to North Africa, Ivory Coast, UAE, KSA, Turkey, and the US. Through his 11 years of consulting and development in Lebanon Ahmad has consulted dozens of startups, worked on re-engineering of many SMBs and more than 60 restaurants from concept into operations in addition to restructuring some of the franchises like Starbucks, McDonald's, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Dominos Pizza, Spinneys, Dunkin Donuts, Krispy Kreme and many others. As Certified Auditor in Quality Management at Lloyds UK, Ahmad has assessed tens of the companies and led some organizations to get their ISO and HACCP certifications. On the side of volunteering for 20 years at the World Scout movement, Ahmad was rewarded as the World Chief of Development – “Train the Trainer”. He served with the UN, UNDP, and UNICEF as a people manager, big projects, and program manager. Also, he managed many fundraising events to support Tsunami victims in Japan and donated all funds to the American Red Cross.  In the Silicon Valley, Ahmad had many challenging projects and positions, where he was the Director of Institutional Research at ITU and worked on AI research projects for autopilot cars (Google Research Project), smart chip implant to control diabetes (Intel Research Project) and many other projects about e-clinics and smart fitness. Ahmad is so passionate about bridging the gap between the industry and academia, which is why on the side of his unique teaching style he partnered with Jighi, a startup in the Silicon Valley, which organizes the biggest Cyber Security Conference in Africa with the patronage of the US Department of Trade and Commerce.
