I have had the privilege of ministering in the Sacramento region for many years. My roots in Christianity run deep, and I have had the opportunity to watch many dynamics and trends in the Christian culture over the years. Biblical Christianity offers grace and healing at a level nothing in this world can approach and it is exciting to be part of the WJU team that is seeking to further this knowledge and understanding. As a way of keeping balance in life, I love outdoor activities such as bicycling, hiking, motorcycle riding and jeeping, all with my wife of 25 years. She is also finalizing her requirements for state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist and she works with me and our colleagues at Cornerstone Psychological Center.
I am a licensed Psychologist and I have had a practice in the Sacramento region for about 25 years. I work with many types of individual and marital issues. In addition, I work with pastors and I frequently consult with churches on various challenges encountered in ministry. I have taught at Fuller Seminary, Sacramento for 16 years and I was the Director of the M.A. Program in Marriage and Family Therapy at Chapman University. I currently have a part-time practice with Cornerstone Psychological Center.
