
Tom Ruscica has served as Chair of the Music Department since 2008. Serving as director of the University Choir and Orchestra as well as the Alumni & Community Choir, the WJU choral program has released three full length albums in the past 2 years. Since 2003, Tom has served as faculty member in the William Jessup University Music Department and developed the University's first instrumental program. In addition, Tom teaches Conducting, Music Theory, Composition, Orchestration, and History of Western Music. Tom has a passion for choral music and worship in the church. He has developed choral programs in many denominations including Assembly of God, Baptist, Church of God, and Lutheran. While at Azusa Pacific University he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis in Music Theory. In 1995, he earned his Masters degree in Music, with emphasis in choral conducting, from APU under the direction of Dr. Gary Bonner.
